CHECK-IN/OUT

Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. You are welcome to arrive early and hit the trails before your room is ready.

Upon arrival, please register at the Historic Matewan House Office located in the main house of our lodging complex. You can purchase your trail passes at time of check-in and pay any remaining balance on your reservation. At this time, you will verify the number in your party and sign guest book.

Office hours vary depending on the season. If you will not be checking in at the time specified time on the reservation please notify the Reservations Office (606-625-0688 or 606-625-5092) for check-in instructions.

Cancellation Policy

Non refundable deposit equal to half of the total is required.

Cancellation prior to 7 days of stay--$100 Dollar Cancellation fee remainder of deposit can be applied to future stay.

Cancellation less than 7 days of stay-- Forfeit of Full Deposit

QUIET HOURS

Between the hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am noise interfering with the peaceful enjoyment by occupants of lodge is strictly prohibited.

Parents must be responsible for the safety and actions of their children at all times. Vandalism will not be tolerated.​​

LODGING RULES

No Pets allowed. (Under the ADA and West Virginia law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only service animals. )

No smoking inside buildings.

No parking in front of dumpster.


SMS and Text Messaging Policy

We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.

Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.

Help: If you experience issues or need assistance, you may reply HELP or contact the front desk directly.

Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
